Steve passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family on Friday, April 23, 2021. He was born in Pocatello, Idaho in 1949 and moved to Vista with his parents Erma and Joe, and two siblings Cheryl, and David Bradford. He graduated from Vista High School in 1967 and joined the United States Navy where he served during the Vietnam War. Steve married the love of his life, Carol Eslinger on March 22, 1969. Steve and Carol had three children; Michael, Matthew, and Michelle. He has been a realtor and broker in Vista since 1972, he was active in his community serving as past President of the Vista Chamber of Commerce, the Vista Board of Realtors, the Optimist Club of Vista, and the Vista National Little League. Steve gave countless hours volunteering his time and energy helping others in his community and church.
He is survived by his wife Carol Bradford, his three children Michael & Jennifer Bradford, Matthew & Kasey Bradford, and Shelly & Daniel Hildreth, and his grandchildren; Christian, Drew, Jake, Ava, Tate, Josh, Alyse, Olivia, Noah, Amelia, & Jude.
Services to be held at Riverview Evangelical Church in Bonsall on Friday, May 14th at 1:00 p.m.
