The day started out damp and cloudy, but around 9:30am the sun broke out and warmed up the day for Vista’s Memorial Day Ceremonies at the Vista Civic Center.
The American Legion Post 365 held a Memorial Day of Remembrance Ceremony. The ceremony provides the community the opportunity to honor the men and women who have responded to the call of duty and paid the ultimate sacrifice. This years Guest Speaker was Captain E. Royce Williams, USN Retired, who flew over 220 missions mainly in Korea and Vietnam. He served our country for over thirty years and retired in 1980. https://homelandmagazine.com/?p=1994
