On 8/14/18 at 6:57 AM, Oceanside Police responded to a call of a non-breather at 530 North Tremont Street. When officers arrived along with Oceanside Fire Department Paramedics the victim was found deceased. The victim, a 77 year old male had sustained trauma to his upper body. The victim was found by his wife when she returned home from her employment at a local nursing home. Oceanside Police Detectives from the departments Crimes of Violence Unit are currently investigating this incident.
